Who is responsible for your data

What I process and why

When you contact me by email or on LinkedIn: your name, contact details and message, to reply and prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or my legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
Business offers to organisations: the name, role and business email address of a contact person that the organisation has published as its contact on its website or in another public business source. I use them to offer my design services in an individual email, and I always say where I found the address. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in business-to-business direct marketing (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Clients: contact and payment details, to deliver the work and get paid under our contract. Legal basis: the contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and my obligations under tax law (Article 6(1)(c)).
Website visits: the site runs on Wix, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser to deliver and secure the site. The site uses only cookies that are necessary for it to work. If I ever add others, for example for analytics, I will use them only with your consent.

How long I keep it

Enquiries and offer contacts that do not lead to cooperation: up to 12 months after the last contact, or until you object.
Client data: for the duration of our cooperation; contracts and payment records for as long as tax law requires.

Who else processes it

My service providers: Wix (website hosting), Google (email) and LinkedIn (if we talk there). Some of them may process data outside the EU, under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. I do not sell your data or share it with others for their marketing.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest, and to direct marketing without giving a reason; I will then stop contacting you. Write to larisa.hercog@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (www.ip-rs.si).

I do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
